The beige NL-AAC18-CA brings fuzzy-logic Micom control to a 10-cup household rice cooker made in Japan. Select a dedicated rice menu and the cooker adjusts the cooking cycle rather than relying on a single on/off switch. The maximum refers to raw short-grain white rice measured with the supplied approximately 180 mL cup; mixed rice, brown rice and porridge require their own smaller batches.

The included basket makes the Steam menu useful beyond rice, while the clock and two finish-time memories support eligible rice recipes. Regular and Extended Keep Warm are options for permitted rice only, not a holding method for steamed food. Reheat increases the temperature of already-warm white rice; it is not a cold-food reheating program. Plan clearance for the hinged lid and the manual’s cooling interval between batches.

Choose the menu before the batch

The LCD panel brings rice selection, clock and timing together. White, sushi and quick batches run from 2–10 supplied rice cups; mixed, sweet, brown and porridge menus have different limits. Use the matching menu and pan water line.

Steam with the supplied basket

The dedicated Steam program offers a 1–60-minute timer, including water heat-up. A separate reduced-capacity rice-and-food method is also provided. Follow that method’s limits rather than combining two maximum loads, and remove steamed food at completion.

Reach the inner lid for routine care

The inner lid detaches for washing, allowing access to a part that receives moisture during cooking. Follow the manufacturer’s cleaning method after unplugging and cooling the appliance; keep electrical components dry.

Maximum white-rice capacity does not apply to every menu: mixed, sweet, brown, porridge and simultaneous rice-and-food cooking have separate limits. No cooked yield or portion count is promised. The Reheat function is for already-warm white rice, not cold rice. Keep Warm restrictions and the overall 12-hour limit still apply when Extended Keep Warm is used.
