The white NL-EJC10WA combines a flat-top body and integrated controls with 5.5-cup Micom rice cooking. Made in Japan, it uses fuzzy-logic control and a thick, double-nonstick-coated inner pan. The maximum capacity means raw short-grain white rice measured with the supplied approximately 180 mL cup—not cooked portions or a shared limit for every menu.

The menu covers multiple rice varieties as well as congee, quinoa, steel cut oatmeal and Cake. Automatic Keep Warm, Extended Keep Warm, Reheat and two delay settings add options, but their food eligibility and limits must follow the exact NL-EJC instructions. For care, the inner lid detaches, the cord removes for storage, and the Self-Cleaning function is intended to help reduce odors rather than replace manual cleaning.

Select a dedicated grain program

Choose a menu that matches the rice or grain and use its specified load and water amount. White, long-grain white, sushi, Jasmine, brown and GABA Brown are distinct choices alongside congee, quinoa, steel cut oatmeal and Cake. Do not apply the maximum white-rice rating to every program.

Detachable washable lid

The inner lid removes for washing and must be fitted for the outer lid to close.

A lid designed for cleaning access

Remove the inner lid for washing according to the manual. The outer lid will not close unless the inner lid is properly installed. Use the odor-reducing Self-Cleaning function as directed and continue regular cleaning of food-contact components.

Measure and serve with the included tools

The supplied rice measure sets the correct approximately 180 mL cup standard for the rice capacity. A self-standing spatula accompanies it for loosening and serving rice. Select utensils and cleaning tools that protect the nonstick pan.
