Product Overview

The KK-285 Onigiri Days mold shapes three small bale-style rice portions at a time. Its translucent body and matching pressing lid are sized at 5¼ by 2¾ by 1½ inches high, with three separate molding spaces in the compact format.

Choose this form when a meal calls for several small rounded rice portions rather than one large triangle or square. Leave space beside the mold for the rice paddle, nori and finished portions so shaping and plating can follow one another without crowding the work area.

Arrange a small-portion plate

Set out the serving dish before filling the mold. A row of small rice portions can leave room for a separate main ingredient or vegetable side, rather than making the rice the entire plate.

Press and release with the matching pieces

Wet the mold before filling, press with its lid, then remove the lid and invert. Push the central base area gently to release the portions; do not force the release area.
