About this product

Product type: Sushi rice tub
Material: Wood
Color: Natural wood tone
Shape: Round, open top
Construction: Upright wood sections with two outer bands
Selling unit: One tub

Product Overview

The CK36 rice tub has a broad round opening, a flat interior base and upright wood sections around the outside. Two narrow bands encircle the pale wood wall, leaving the interior open for rice preparation.

Its simple, undecorated interior belongs at the preparation stage alongside a rice paddle, rolling mat and cutting board. Serving boats and platters can remain separate for the finished course.

CK36 in a tabletop or preparation setting

Give rice preparation its own vessel

Keep the tub next to a rice paddle, with the rolling mat and finished-food dishes in separate spaces. That arrangement makes the open tub the rice station rather than using it to hold unrelated cutting or serving tools.

Open round form

The tub has a circular opening with an uninterrupted raised wall.

Two outer bands

Two narrow bands run around the wood-section exterior.

Plain interior

A flat base and unpainted wood-tone walls define the inside.

Look at the inside and outside construction

The exterior bands wrap around the upright wood sections, while the inside has a plain circular base. The undecorated surfaces keep the shape and construction visible without a painted tabletop motif.

Compare the tub format with the serving format

An open rice tub and a decorative sushi oke serve different parts of the setup. Keep the preparation vessel beside the tools and choose a separate platter, boat or serving oke for the finished food.
