Product Overview

The IM210-IK combines a broad square format with a softly uneven edge and a green, brown and gold glaze. Rather than a flat, sharply geometric outline, its lifted corners give the plate a flowing profile. The 9¾-inch size leaves room to separate the elements of a composed plate while allowing the glaze to show around them.

Made in Japan, the ceramic plate measures 1½ inches high and works well for a main course, a modest sushi arrangement or a selection of small dishes served together. Set the food slightly away from the rim to preserve the outline as part of the presentation. A small IK sauce dish or leaf dish can keep a condiment separate. The plate is dishwasher safe and microwave safe.
