White & Olive Melamine Rectangular Sauce Bowl, 2 oz

Lifted corners frame the low rectangular sauce bowl, with olive accents and dark circular brushstrokes against the white surface. The melamine surface combines the light ground with darker markings, so the decoration remains part of the setting around the food. Matching bowls, plates and a tea cup repeat the decoration, while coordinating spoons carry olive accents on their handles.

It holds 2 oz. Use the bowl for soy sauce, ponzu or a small condiment, keeping the main food on a separate plate. Set it beside sushi, tempura or dumplings so each piece can be dipped as it is eaten. A matching larger bowl can hold rice or vegetables, carrying the same design into another part of the meal. Wooden chopsticks and a chopstick rest fit alongside the plate, with a clear water glass to finish the individual setting.
