8 in White & Olive Melamine Round Plate

A low curved profile and fine olive rim frame the white plate, with dark circular brushstrokes across the center. The melamine surface combines the light ground with darker markings, so the decoration remains part of the setting around the food. Matching bowls, plates and a tea cup repeat the decoration, while coordinating spoons carry olive accents on their handles.

It measures 8 inches in diameter. Try an appetizer, a vegetable side or an individual dessert, leaving a little of the decorated surface visible around the serving. Place the main portion first, then arrange smaller accompaniments around it with space between the ingredients. Serve dipping sauces in a separate dish alongside, and add a rice bowl when the meal includes one. Matching pieces repeat the design through each course. Wooden chopsticks and a clear drinking glass complete the setting.
