Product Overview

This 8.5" cast iron pot with wooden lid and base is designed for sukiyaki, shabu shabu, nabe, noodles, soups, stews, and other Japanese hot dishes. The 58 oz vessel provides room for meats, vegetables, noodles, broth, and sauce, while cast iron construction retains heat throughout cooking and tabletop service.

The included wooden lid helps retain warmth, while the matching wooden base provides a dedicated serving surface beneath the hot pot. Its 8.5" diameter creates a shared-service format for approximately 3–4 diners, distinguishing it from ERS's smaller individual cast iron pots.

This 58 fl oz cast iron nabe pot brings a black, round vessel to Japanese hot-pot presentation. Its 8.5" size gives the pot a defined footprint beside individual bowls, sauces and utensils.

A black enamel coating covers the interior. The set includes a wooden lid and wooden base, completing the covered-pot presentation.
